New retro-style video for Malantiguo’s “Nothing” (Acoustic)
May 16, 2016Female fronted rock band Malantiguo has released the videoclip for the single “Nothing” (unplugged version).
The video, shot by director Davide “Pax” Pagliano, features a rétro atmosphere which blends well with the acoustic side of this Italian FM-rock band.
Singer and bass player of Malantiguo, Laura Ferro comments:
“This is our “You Oughta Know“: a song of resentment towards someone who disappeared out of the blue in a difficult time, only to reappear later, in my life, when I was finally standing on my feet again.
We enjoyed shooting this rétro-flavoured video: I am obsessed by Steampunk, Verne’s novels, Victorian style since I was a child and with this acoustic version of our “Nothing” (there’s also an official video for the electric version on Youtube) we could play a little bit.”
Malantiguo are now working on their full-length album to follow the first two EPs “MMXII” (After Life 2012) and “Nothing” (After Life 2015). The release is expected for around September or October this year.
Malantiguo line up:
Laura Ferro: vocals & bass
Tiziano Antolli: guitars & backing vocals
Roberto Perduca: keyboards, guitars & backing vocals
Massimiliano Allegro: drums & percussions
